I started my life in Baños, Ecuador in 1974, my parents were chilean hippies at that time traveling south america. I never really lived in Ecuador because my parents returned to Chile soon after I was born. In Chile we lived in several cities so I always felt like a nomad.

I began listening to music carefully at 10, hearing mostly main stream stuff at that time like Yes, Billy Ocean, Ray Parker, Pointer Sisters, Tina Turner, Dire Straits, Police, Toto... then I moved my ears in other directions like Jean-Luc Ponty, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Andreas Vollenweider, Isao Tomita... then my mind just exploded and opened to: Frank Zappa, James Brown, Allan Holdsworth, King Crimson, Van Der Graaf Generator, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Billy Cobham, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jeff Beck, Nguyên Lê, Shakti, Ravi Shankar, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery...

And at the same time I had all this Chilean and Argentinean music that sounded around, people like: Luis Alberto Spinetta, Los Jaivas, Inti Illimani, Santiago del Nuevo Extremo, Charly García, Fulano, Congreso, Pedro Aznar, Victor Jara, Violeta Parra, Illapu, Arak Pacha, Huara...

Also during my childhood I had "soundtracked" dreams and heard incredible stuff in my head every night. So my music is a mixture of different things that I have found moving around in this real world and the things that belong to my imagination.

I started working with computers in 1987 learning some Basic in an Atari 800XL during those days my father bought a cheap piano that I used to hit with 2 fingers. Later I discovered Guitar and began to learn music more seriously, I spent a lot of time inside my room just playing and composing using mostly my guitar and a computer, until I had to came out and play!.

In school I had 2 groups: ACTKK and then Aminoplis, ACTKK was just crazy stuff, none of us could play any instruments so we mostly recited on top of some Dire Straits songs and record that; Aminoplis was a regular school rock band playing covers. During my university days I played in an always expanding band called "La Manga" where we played improvised music and some originals.

Then I played with Pedro Villagra in his band and recorded the cd "Pagano". My last band was "Antartic Hippies" where we played mostly our songs and did some demo recordings.

Right now I'm making my music for Artificial Bliss Recordings, last song is "Lack of it is Emptyness" a song where I use the word "love"...
